Duolingo, the popular language learning platform, was recently involved in a data leak and 2.6 million users had their data scraped which now appear on a a hacking forum out in the wild. Hackers were able to get Usernames, Email Addresses, Language, and which Language users were learning.
This is relevant because users may receive targeted emails that appear to come from Lingo to try to leach even more information via social engineering. If you are a user of the platform beware and change those passwords.
